What this usually involves
We publish four investment ranges and our minimum of $60,000, along with what each range typically includes and who we are honestly not the right firm for. Your own number comes from the Fixed-Price Proposal in phase four, once the drawings exist.

Questions about custom cabinetry
How long does custom cabinetry take?
Drawing and approval runs three to five weeks; fabrication is typically eight to fourteen weeks after that, and it is usually the longest lead time in a kitchen. This is why it is ordered during design rather than after demolition.
What investment range does cabinetry usually land in?
Cabinetry is almost always a line inside a larger project rather than a project of its own, so it lands wherever that project lands. The four ranges are published on The Right Fit.
Do we actually need custom?
Often not, and we will say so. Semi-custom lines have got very good and they solve most rooms. Custom earns its place at an odd wall, an unusual ceiling height, a specific storage problem, or a period house where stock proportions read wrong — and in a lot of kitchens the honest answer is semi-custom everywhere except one run.
What does the five-year workmanship warranty cover on cabinetry?
Our installation — level, plumb, scribed, and fastened correctly — for five years from substantial completion. The cabinetry finish and the manufactured components carry the maker's own written warranty.
